A unique web site logger that works with either Internet Explorer or Netscape, Surf Snoop allows parents to view either an HTML log (viewed as a web page in their default browser), or a backup Text log inside the program itself. As a backup, the Text log is there in case children find, and change or delete the HTML log.Surf Snoop logs the current user, the day, the date, the time, the web page address (URL), and the title of the web site. As an added feature in the HTML log, the URL’s are hyperlinks to the logged web pages. Also, with the new Active log, parents can now log the time, and title of all programs that are opened. Additional features include password protection, automatically startup with Windows, hides the program from the Task Manager (ctrl + alt + del), and the ability to run in stealth mode (hidden from view).Blocking software is a good way to protect your children from the hate, and sex sites on the Web today, but it does not provide complete protection.
