This FREE software finds exactly what you're looking for by simultaneously consulting the best Internet search engines. With Copernic 2000 your searches will be easier, faster and more efficient than ever. It uses predefined search categories, allowing you to target inquiries to all major Web search engines, search for relevant text in newsgroups, access popular email directories to find people, compare product prices on auctions sites and search for books, hardware, music, software, and videos in online stores. It provides access to some 80 major information sources such as AltaVista, Deja.com, Excite, HotBot, Infoseek, Lycos, Magellan, WebCrawler and Yahoo!. It features a search wizard, the ability to search using a question or keywords, keyword highlighting in results, a detailed search history, automatic software updating via Internet and many useful search management functions. Copernic 2000 shows a relevancy score for each result and removes duplicates automatically. It also automatically removes dead links and download documents for off-line browsing (up to 32 simultaneous transfers). Search results can be viewed off-line, updated and refined using operators (and, or, except, near). Among many other useful features, you may export and save search results in various file formats (HTML, XML, text, DBF). You may also share them with friends or colleagues via e-mail. Copernic 2000 offers integrated tools for Internet Explorer 4.0 and later, and has a simple, smart user interface. |
